Cat's Log Sunday, January 16, 1999 Wwwwha amessas! pawwwwwws tooooobiigf. Tryin' da nos . . . Ouch! nos to sof. GlennaJo! So, dear diary, I've decided to chronicle my life on the world wide web. (Wha! Im not puttin' dis stuff on da web!) [You DO want me to type it for you, don't you?] (An whas dis "kronikle" junk? I don talk lik dat!) [You do want me to type it for you, don't you?] (Jus keep it simpl, OK?) At 8 we transferred from the bed to the couch in the computer room--too early for a Saturday. At least GlennaJo wasn't running the TV loud enough to be heard by a cat a block away like usual. When she finally left, the fun began. I checked out the recycling bags in the kitchen and took a nap in the computer box in the living room.
When she got back I was going with the classic "come find me and pet me" greeting when I smelled a faint aroma of cat food. I got up, walked to the new food bag and sat down. GlennaJo, as usual, totally missed the point of my effort at communication, and didn't top off my food bowl for at least half an hour. Meanwhile Ms. Veldt, "the princess," (yeh, rite) sat in my spot next to GlennaJo on the couch for the evening. That midget feline is approximately 1/3 my own imperial bulk, but with GlennaJo in her corner, I never get to show her who's boss. Maybe tomorrow in the next entry . . . |
