Cat's Log Friday, December 31, 1999

It's such a relief when GlennaJo goes to work in the morning.

The race to get ready is always a frenetic and stressful experience, but since it got cold it's downright frightening.

I refer, of course, to the giant boots of death (or at least maiming and dismemberment).

In the summer when GlennaJo is barefoot until just before she runs out the door, I hang out in the middle of the living room playing Russian blue roulette.

Of course, the payoff is a mixed bag with GlennaJo doing the lost balance dance and me suffering a sore side. But still it can be amusing.

Add the death boots, and the wise cat abandons roulette for a safe berth under the table.

NOTE: There is no log for December 30, 1999, due to technical problems at our web hosting company. GlennaJo really, really regrets any inconvenience this may have caused. And even Prince is no longer amused.
