Cat's Log Monday, December 20, 1999

I am soooo tired of sarcasm.

Sleeping with an eye on the prey.

"Looks to me like whatever you're stalking lives a long and uneventful life," says GlennaJo.

When I was a street cat in L.A., hunting was a way of life. But at this point, it's just a harmless pastime.

In the first place, a well-fed domestic cat has no need to tempt fate by eating stuff that's been crawling around on the floor. I mean, who knows what germs or venom you might encounter!

And in the second place, why destroy something that is an absolute joy to stalk by killing it?

Make fun, not war.
