Today I found one of GlennaJo's stuffed mice under the sofa and brought it out.

Gee, I thought, won't she be pleased and appreciative when she sees the long-lost treasure restored to her.

"Huh, you found your toy," she says, ignoring both mouse and giver and walking into the kitchen.

She forgot my liver treats, too.

Just once I wish she'd really notice and appreciate my contributions to our home.

Like the artistic hair arrangement on the arm of the couch.
