Cat's Log Thursday, November 25, 1999 Apparently today is a human holiday called "Thanksgiving."
Thanksgiving is a day when humans in the United States gather together to talk about the excellencies of their feline companions and how thankful they are for them. Unfortunately in all this gathering together, felines are sometimes left out. We are frankly puzzled by the Thanksgiving ritual that consists of roasting a large succulent turkey for hours right in front of a cat and then serving it to everyone except him. Don't you think it's time for a new ritual, perhaps one involving lots of sharing? |
