Cat's Log Monday, November 1, 1999

There I was, resting on my side in the bathroom near the end of a full night of hunting.

GlennaJo snorts in that unattractive way of hers and says, "Impressive hunting technique."

First of all, this is coming from someone who slept through what will undoubtedly be the most exciting event in the house this week.

Second, I was lying on my side, true, but my front legs and paws were tensed in an effort to prevent the long skinny prey with many legs from getting away.

Then, to add insult to injury, she turns on the shower and fills the bathroom with steam--an opportunity that was not lost on the prey who made a clean escape.

Next hunting trip, I'll herd the prey into the bed so GlennaJo can enjoy the whole experience.
