Cat's Log Sunday, October 31, 1999

So, this morning GlennaJo drags me to the 'puter screen and says, "Look! It's you!"

I sniffed a bit but, since all I smelled was screen cleaner, I jumped down and returned to the living room.

She picked me up again, dragged me to the 'puter, and said, "See, you're the handsomest cat on the web!" I couldn't argue with that, so I took another sniff, but could only conclude she's either mistaken or nuts.

The Internet is never going to find its feline audience until pages are accompanied by scent. Video cards fall short of feline vision requirements. And I've been suspicious of sound cards ever since GlennaJo stared at me while she played all the songbird recordings in the encyclopedia.

I've been giving this scented web page thing some thought.

And I feel the feline ladies of the world have a right to enjoy my bracing masculine scent as well as my handsome face and sparkling personality.
