Sorry for the delay in this column, but every time I'd start describing myself, GlennaJo'd get to laughing so much she couldn't type. Domestic felines are truly a long-suffering species.

In order to get this column off the ground, we worked out a compromise. I'll make a statement about myself and GlennaJo will try to confuse you with human foolishness. (You must admit it's better than not knowing the details of the magnificence of me.)

Prince: My magnificent frame is a full 20 lbs (9 kg) without any fat.
GlennaJo: Admittedly, he does measure 36 inches (91 cm) from nose to tail, but the width of his hips when resting on his belly is also a full 12 inches (30 cm). And what about the part that IS fat?

Prince: My large, green eyes stare at you with soulful intensity.
GlennaJo: This would be during those rare moments when you aren't sleeping? The moments when I'm eating, preparing food, or even just possibly heading toward the kitchen?

Prince: My markings form a perfect dignified tuxedo, including a bow tie under my chin.
GlennaJo: What more needs to be said about someone who considers a hairy tuxedo with bow tie dignified?

Prince: My powerful tail, an inch (2.5 cm) in diameter at the base and a foot (30 cm) long, can knock the glasses off an unwary human.
GlennaJo: This one is true as I can attest. Perhaps he swings from the rafters when I'm not home?
Prince: Ever check out the hair on the tops of the cabinets.
GlennaJo: Prince!!!

Prince: Oops gotta go. Sometimes watching from under the bed is the better part of valor.
