Cat's Log Friday, February 4, 2000

Last night, GlennaJo decided the giant boots need to be stored in the closet in a plastic bag, so I've shifted my focus to a different morning ritual.

Normally my attendant pets (and !yuck! hugs) (and !ick!! kisses) me until I walk away in disgust.

But when she steps out of the shower it works in reverse.

She seems cold, bland, pathetic and incomplete with my scent washed of, so I rush over to help her out.

Rather than respect the tremendous sacrifice I offer to make by rubbing my warm dry self against her soggy legs, GlennaJo jumps away in horror and continues to jump 'til I give up and segue into the next part of the ritual.

Self-sacrifice often goes unappreciated.
